At Vallis Farm

Exciting news! Myself and my dear friend and writer, Ronnie Powell-Smith, will be hosting a fortnightly writing group at the beautiful Vallis Farm in Frome.

As writers ourselves, we wanted to create a space to provide accountability and community (and cake!) for writers of all genres and levels. These sessions are not exclusive to “professionals” – if writing is something that you love to do, or are interested in exploring, then you are welcome here.

Each hour and a half long session will provide an initial inspiring exercise or warm up, an hour’s dedicated time for you to work on your writing project, and a plenary with tea, cake and chats about books and writing.

About Me.

Hi, I'm Georgia!

I am a Transformational Yoga®, Hatha and meditation teacher, Reiki practitioner, and somatic life coach. I trained with Golden Glow Yoga College, OM Lounge, and The MOE Foundation. With a background in somatic awareness, breath work, and parts-based inner work, I support clients in building gentleness and nervous system safety from the inside out.

I believe that the most transformative tools for ourselves, and therefore for everyone around us, are those which help us slow down and soften our nervous systems back to a sense of safety.

Please get in touch to find out how to work with me.

You are a wonderfully intuitive teacher and healer! Loved the sessions – they took us to a totally centering, blissed-out state and also a liberated one. Thank you!

Drop-in Yoga Classes and 1-to-1 sessions

About my teaching

Since I was 11 years old, yoga has been a gentle space for me, a sensitive soul seeking respite from the overwhelm of daily life.

In my classes, expect relaxation & bliss, lots of giggles, and plenty of joy!

Whether you come to a drop-in community class or work with me 1-to-1, my soft classes offer simple somatic tools, therapeutic yoga, and gentle Reiki energy healing to support mental strength & safety within. The aim of my teaching is to empower you, so that you can feel resourced and able to use your body as an anchor beyond the mat and into your day-to-day life.

I create a supportive space so that everyone feels regulated with a sense of inner calm, safety, and resilience in body and being.

Please drop me an email or send a message to inquire about 1-to-1 sessions, and we'll chat about how I can best support you.

How can yoga help you?

Yoga is an umbrella term for what is essentially a really ancient toolkit! Within the frameworks of yoga are a huge range of tools available to be used therapeutically for physical, mental, and emotional support.

Joint Pain & Arthritis

Within the practises of yoga are excellent techniques to help reduce inflammation and physiological stress on a cellular level, offering relief from pain and other conditions that are caused by inflammation and stress.

Chronic Stress

The techniques of yoga are a direct antidote to chronic stress, anxiety, and fatigue. Simple practices of breathing and gentle movement have been scientifically proven to significantly reduce emotional and physical stress.

Accessible

The practices of yoga can be soft and easy, or strengthening and fast-paced— there is something for everyone, and it is all yoga!

You do not have to be flexible, a certain size, or physically fit in order to practice and reap the benefits of yoga.

Mental Clarity

Simple seated stretches and breathing exercises are massively beneficial to mental health. These simple practices strengthen focus and improve self-awareness, allowing for more mental clarity and healthy emotional expression.

A simple way to feel the benefits of what I teach

Exhale: A Self-Soothing Toolkit for Facilitators & Leaders

Facilitators, coaches, healers, parents — anyone tending to others all day — I’m looking at you.

If you end the day feeling wired, overstimulated, or scrolling just to “come down,” your nervous system is asking for support.

This bundle of audio practices is here to help you to make contact with your body and nervous system.

These audio practices aren’t another routine to add to your already hectic life — they’re quick tools you can use anytime, anywhere.

You’ll get:

  • Three short guided somatic practices that take you from frantic to calm in seconds (that’s a promise).

  • A guidebook that goes deeper into how these practices work.

Your work will feel lighter, your sessions will flow more easily, and you will end your days feeling uplifted from your work again, instead of drained.

When you’re regulated, your presence becomes your most powerful tool.
